How much would a Navi cost me?

Unit is about 2800, install dont know and cant tell without seeing the back of it to know if the joker plugs right up or need more wiring for the GPS antenna.
Why not just but an aftermarket one for less than that and have the use of it with a DVD player?

From what I remember reading in earlier threads it is next to impossible to put the factory nav in a car that doesn't have it because of the interaction with the bose stereo and the climate control system.
Best thing is to go with an aftermarket flip out monitor and add the navigation module. Unless you want to have dvd or tv then you could get a hand held for a lot less money.

BigDogJonx is right. I asked him these questions before and he gave me the run down. Also, I talked to my friend that worked at the stereo shop and he gave me the same basic run down. even though u want to get a screen, u still need to get the brain to run the dvd, ur deck, etc. that can cost u close to $500-$1k alone. so u're looking at close to $1.5k (give or take) and i believe that's without the nav.

Dude,
I asked that very same question about a couple of weeks back. The general answer is to go with an after-market or handheld. I wanted it mainly for the looks but it turned out it will be a very good and very pricey option. I changed my mind.
