Anybody know about residual/buyout values of the car after the lease is up? I have a 2k2 that I picked up last January (02) with a 4 yr lease and a monthly payment of $400 (no money down at all, but i know, i still got ripped). If the car's in good condition and the mileage is under the allowable limit, what should the payoff be around? The total payments come to around 19k.

 

I would guess somewhere in the low teens (13-16k)

2 more years and my 5 year loan will be paid off. I only have 21,000 miles on the car. At the rate that Im going, Ill have between 30,000 and 35,000 miles on a 5 year old car

Mine was paid for less than a month after I got it. I paid cash except for $2K or so which I put on a credit card. But I paid that in full when the bill came.
