In Dash Air Filter?
In Dash Air Filter?
Have an 01 Maxima, owned about 6 mos, 16k miles, dealership suggests pulling off dash ($50) to check the in dash air filters, and will replace if necessary, another $50....is this just dealership up selling? Or a legit concern?
Thanks
Thanks

this may be a stupid question but since someone already started a thread on it i might as well ask,
if i dont have a sticker with replacement instructions can i just buy one and install it, does it do anything?

If you are truly concerned, do it yourself.

Have you done this? I need to replace mine and tried taking apart the glove box area, but the housing to get back in there seemed hung up on something around the center console/dash. I didn't want to pull too hard and break anything, but I did account for taking out the number of screw and locations that the instruction show.
