2002 damage report, so you think you have it bad?

I was just thinking to my self.. wow this new max of mine really is put together poorly compared to my 95 max and 98 I30.

Heres a list of the things that have broken on my 2002 6 spd maxima, itcurrently has 24K miles on it.

4 MAFS
1 Transmission
1 none Bose CD player
1 front right wheel bearing (becuase of bad transmission replair)

Things I busted on my own, just me being me, lol.

3 Pairs of tail lights
1 speedometer cluster

Wear items allready replaced

oem clutch (had one put in since the tranny was out, oem was 1/2 dead.
Brake pads died in the front replaced with porterfields (love them!)
Replaced spark plugs(fouled after multiple MAFS failures)

Expiremental/mods gone bad.

Complete 350Z intake manifold setup, no go..
Attempted to install a 95 maxima header on front bank to get a fed spec y-pipe on, it did not fit.

Well thats my experience thus far I know, I know, if I was a a gentle peacefull natured normal human being almost all of these issues/problems would have been avaoided. However my 4th gens wher damn nean bullit proof compared to my 2002.

Yet you've helped out the 5th gen community so much, specially the 2k2+ maximas. Pioneered a lot of stuff people wouldnt even dream of. And your car looks bad @ss.

You can either push your car across the finish line or you can tow it across. Good luck on your 10 minute car

F&F BTW...

Come on, Ethan, I remember what happened to your I30. Dare I say, there's no car on the market that can survive your "enthusiasm".

Haha, well that was a freak accident, not really a quality issue.
