Stillen intake?

Stillen intake?
The noise from my stillen intake is like a turbo... is it normal? My friend said that noise MAYBE is not normal... maybe pulls more air than normal and is not good for my engine... He has K&N and the noise is like V8... (i dont have intake mid-pipe)...
