Windshield 'dead' zone...

Windshield 'dead' zone...
Anyone notice at speeds of 65mph+ a section of the windshield just below the mirror where the wipers seem to 'lift' off the glass and leave a small section that is not 'squeegeed'? I just replaced the original refills with another set of OEM ones about 2 months ago and am not sure if they are the case or if the wiper arm springs for some reason don't have enough force to overcome the lifting by the airflow at those speeds.

Not completely sure if the replacement of the refill holder is the solution yet though. For sure its a pain in the butt.

I am noticing this on mine as well. Its about 4" below the mirro about 2" to the left. I believe the original arm where the refill is going. Because, as you stated at about 65 it just smears about a 10" section.

Upon further reflection you will also notice this is the area of the first "joint" on teh wiper arm...wonder if there is any correlation.
