Why are you switching to the Teins? Your car looks sweet with its current setup.

Still waiting on mine, I live in Fl so it will take a little more time...

Woo cho, you have a tight whip, but wait until you put these springs on... Jap spec springs, can't say anymore than that...YOu'll definitly have a tight look... Man, I wanted to be the first on the org to post pics of the tein drop... Oh well... you can take the credit... Well, Hope things work out well on the installation, I am putting tokicos, so this should do the job... Its either tokico or stocks so its Tokico...

I too couldn't stand the gap on the max and mine isn't even dropped yet... I looked at Eibach and H&R's, but still leave an uneven gap... Always more in the back then the front... looks like you have a ton of bricks sitting in the trunk... And Progress Springs are the only ones that came close to being suitable for me, and those springs aren't even for us...it's for the 4th Gen Max, that is why Custommaxima took them off the 5th Gen Products for suspension... And sprint is 2inches all around, so you will have a nice drop, but still and unven gap from the front to the back...

I am crossing my fingers on the TEin springs to do the job...!!!
(GAP FRee please)

hey can you take pics of the springs...i really want to know if they'll fit the kyb-agx's...dont know how taking pics of the springs will help, but if we could compare em to the eibach rear springs then maybe we could find out

Here You Go

The TEIN Springs have a spring rate of 201 lbs in the front and a rate of 268 lbs in the rear. Comparing these with Eibach Springs... Eibach has a rate of 188 lbs in the front and 346 lbs in the rear.

The TEIN Springs are also a 2.2 inch drop in the front and a 1.6 inch drop in the rear. Eibach Springs have a 1.3 inch drop in the front and a 1.0 inch drop in the rear. H&R Springs have a 1.4 inch drop in the front and a 1.3 inch drop in the rear. Progressive Springs have a 1.7 inch drop in the front and a 1.5 inch drop in the rear.

Would Tein springs with 2.2/1.6 drop cause a problem with Tokico Shocks?

I wouldn't think any strut out there could last with that low of a drop without coil overs.

I use to have a 99 Civic to the floor with Modified (Cut) Arospeed springs on STOCK STRUTS... I had the car sitting nearly on the floor...The Arospeed springs had a drop of 2 inches without me modifiying them... I was riding on stock struts for about a good year and a half without any of them being blown then I sold the car...

Tokico's are the way to go, I am telling you... And if I didn't have the money to get them, I would surely put them on stocks and let it ride till they blow...

I have no problem with Tokico shocks for 5 years on my 98 Civic. I use Ground Control Coilover and Tokico Shocks and slam all the way.. There are nothing wrong with it.. Right now I have 2002 Maxima and had Ground Control on it.. I used stock struts on my car right now.. NOthting wrong with it.. I dont see oil linking, bouncing like crazy and hurt the suspension area.. Nope nothing is wrong with it.. I still have brand new all 4 Tokico shocks and use it whenever the stock struts blow out... So get Tokico shocks..

Nice updated pic's Woo Cho. Thanks for having a bunch of differnt angles. Seems to have evened it out better than what eibach's are like. Maybe it'll still settle another 1/4 to 1/2 an inch. If you can, take a picture now with a ruler showing the current wheel gap, then in a few weeks take another picture showing the wheel gap after settling. That would be awesome if you could do that. I'm glad this is going to take care of my eibach gap

So I'm guessing the springs have no seating issue's with the GR-2's? Those are the struts I'm ordering. If you could get a picture of the height (again, with a ruler, this time from the ground) of the stillen side sill (directly behind the front wheel, that would be great too. The more measurements, the more accurate my expectations will be when mine go on. Thanks!

Your car is lookin great!
