Couple questions from a new Max owner...

I just bought a 2000 Maxima SE last week, got a few questions for the vets

1. What kind of oil is the best to use? I was told Mobil 1 synthetic and using that oil to only change it every 7,000 miles. Is that right?

2. How often should the interior leather be conditioned and what do you think is the best stuff to use?

3. Do you ever put fuel system additive/cleaner in or is it unneccessary? If so, how often?

Thanks all.

I'll make this easier for you befor more people tell you to use the "search" button

1. I use Mobil 1 Synthetics 5w-30 for winter and 10w-30 for summer. Which is what the owners manual recommands. And Change every 5k miles, or change according to the maintance manual.

2. I condition my leather seat with Meguiar's leather condition about once every 2-3months.

3. Don't use any kind of additives in your Maxima, its not good for your car. Consult the "Fuel" section in your owners manual if there is any more questions. Just use Premium Fuel! Thats plenty clean~
