is it feasible in a non-bose 2k2 without having it look ghetto?

Hey what's up, it was me. Just check out my homepage, I have a link there to my other page because that one is messed up. I did order the bose grill, but haven't put it on. I'm not sure how to connect it, but right now I just have it layed over the hole and it doesn't move.

nah, just trying to look stock. I've very happy with how my rear deck turned out by porting and putting foam down to stop the rattle. My system sounds so much better now.

When you asked this question, you meant who has a port from their box that opens into the cabin through the rear deck where the bose sub is supposed to be... right? Because that is what I took it to mean, but it seems like those that have responded did not take it to mean the same thing. To me, it looks like they think that you are just asking who has taken out the bose sub, and covered the hole with the speaker cover. So, which way did you mean?

No me and him were talking about this a few weeks ago. I actually cut a hole in my rear deck identical to what it would look like if I had bose. I know PoLo ported his actual box into the cabin, but this isn't what this thread is about.

Wow! You put that whole peice of foam. Im sure there is no ratteling at all now. Now you need to get the cover to make it look clean, I was actually thinking about making the whole about half that size, what do you think?

Well I have the bose grill laying over the hole. I'll take pics tomorrow and post them if you want to check back. The hole is a good size I think. It's a trace of the hole that's in the metal on the rear deck. You might as well make the hole as big as if you did have the bose sub, but just took it out. And yeah with that foam there is no rattle at all. It's wonderful I'm finally happy with my system.

Bump for pics. Want to see how the bose grill might attach to a non-bose decklid. I need to port my trunk for the Basslink.

There are tabs that hang down from the grill. You could either cut more small holes in the rear deck for them or just cut them off completely and do something like velcrow or glue it down. I still don't have pics like I said I was going to do.

Your not the only one Plus i removed the Bose sub! But is that really ricer. I think ricey would be removing the seat all together and leaving all the plastic and stuff showing.
