Anyone ever notice that the rear turn signals bulbs connectors are offset....the 1156's dont fit in the attachment because if u look at the bottom of the factory bulb they dont go straight across their offset....

Yes, as a matter of fact, I have noticed that. I suppose it's Nissan's way of preventing people like us from swapping out the amber bulbs for clears.

Let me know if you ever figure out a way to get around that. And yes, I already know it's illegal as hell to change your rear signal bulbs to anything other than amber.

Didn't YJ change his rear signals? Let's take a look at his FAQ...

hehehe yup

But i found out and easy way to do it.

You take a METAL file not one of those cheap dollar ones.
And you file off one of the little metal things.
You just need one to secure it

have fun!

If all else fails, use a hammer, file, chisel, or saw...

damnit woman

stealing my method...i came up w/ that like a year ago when i got my car errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......everyone kept emailing me about it and i had to tell them and now its coming back to haunt me...i'm getting no credit...boo hoo.......alright j/k

alright, anyways...just pop one of the prongs off...the only purpose of those is to hold the bulb in place and ours are deep enough where 1 prong is enough...just when you are chipping it off (i have done at least 10 bulbs so i'm used to it) be careful...i use a flathead screwdriver but i have broken 2 bulbs because i chiseled too far in and it broke the glass behind the metal...if you would rather not test it out on your 12$ per pair hyperwhite bulbs, go down to checker or autozone and spend 1$ for a 2pack of white bulbs just to test them and make sure you get the technique down
