Help.. O2 Sensor and Cat. cost?

Hi all..
my service engine soon light came on the other day, and I think it is either the O2 sensor or the Cat.. I am taking it in to the dealer tomorrow to get it fix.. just want to know the approx. price for the item before I go in, so I don't get ripped off.

Thanks in advance

Depending on how many miles you have, these items can be covered under the Federal Emissions Warranty and not cost you anything.

Do you still have your warranty booklet? It is in there.

If not, short end of the story is sensors are covered 3/36 while cats are 8/80.

I recently had a rear O2 sensor replaced under warranty. The dealership billed Nissan $174.68, which includes the cost of the sensor, labor for diagnosis and repair, including ECM reprogramming. The sensor cost alone was listed as $46.29.
