What does the Nissan Waranty (under 35k Miles) cover?

I am going into Nissan on Thursday, and I was just wondering what my 35k mile waranty actually covers. My reason for going is because my check engine light came on. But I think I need new brakes and tires as well. Is that coverd? What is and what isn't. I have 34,750 miles on my 2001.

It's bumper to bumper warranty, BUT it doesn't cover "wear and tear" items, which tires and brakes happen to be. So, unless something is wrong with your brakes mechanically, the dealership won't do it under warranty. In other words, if you have worn brake pads, that's not covered by the warranty.

Tires are definitely not covered by it as well. You should've received a booklet with your car with all of the warranty info in there. Read it up, it'll have all of your answers.

The rust may be covered, but I'm not sure about it. Definitely give it a shot.

And no, it's not supposed to be there!
