mobil 1 0w30 tri-synthetic
What oil and viscosity where you using before? The 0 portion of the viscosity spec refers to the viscosity when cold (at 0 degrees C.) Once the car is warmed up there should be no difference at all between a 0w-30, 5w-30 or 10w-30.

before i had non synthetic cheap-o oil...before i would get $12-$15 oil change coupons in the mail and use them...one of the coupons says kendall 10w30 and the other just says 10w30...i did this oil change by myself w/ a normal fram filter...its just the synthetic that is making the difference i'm sure
It's hard to believe how much difference synthetic makes (particularly Mobil 1, Amsoil or Red Line). They actually do most of what those "magic in a bottle" additives promise. One of my cars even got run a few miles with no oil on Amsoil without damage! (I wouldn't do it on purpose though)
