sorry guys, newbie question here

hey guys, i am new to the board. I just bought my 2002 Max SE last week. Love it!!!!!!!! I have the leather interior, in tan, with the leather seating as well. I have 2 questions actually. I wanted to know what is the best to clean the dash with? I know the thread above me has cleaning ideas, but I wasnt sure if they applied to the 2002 as well since most were written in 2001 and not being a big Nissan guy, I thought maybe Nissan changed the interior.
edit: found the answer to question number 2

I use simple green ( deluted with water ) For a quick dusting I suggest the california dash duster. It works like a charm ( and you can wash it too ! )

I use Vinylex. Works great, doesn't give the greasy shiny look, which I like. Whatever you do, do NOT use Armor All--it will cause cracking in the long run.

Since you have leather, I'll also recommend Lexol Leather Cleaner and Lexol Leather Conditioner. They are VERY good, and highly recommended by a lot of people.

i use the meguiar's gold formula for cleaning the dash. i dont remember exactly what it's called. it works well and i havne't had any problems yet. it does make the dash a little shiny tho, which can be distracting at times. or maybe it's just really clean.

for the Lexol products. Scientifically proven to protect better. Not to mention it makes everything look sweet.

For the dash, I just use water & wipe it off. Then when the dash is completely dried, I pass-over it with a swifter. The swifter picks-up all the dust and lint.

Armor All will cause cracking, eh? How is that? Has it happened to you or is there an ingredient in the product that has been known to cause cracking?
IMO, Armor all is probably fine to use.

It hasn't happened to me, but this was mentioned multiple times in our forums. Since the search is disabled, I can't really tell you to search and see for yourself, so you'll just have to take my word for it.

I believe it had something to do with one of the ingredients in there, not sure which one though. Maybe someone can chime in and provide the specifics.
