I went with a bunch of other people and took some tools to help a buddy out with swapping some engine parts at the track to test. I dont know about you, but I dont feel comfortable having all my tools and everything else in my trunk laying around for some riceboy to come gank them. I was fortunate enough to finally find someone to watch my stuff while I made a run.

youd be suprised how much a spare tire, jack, cover and carpet weighs... thats why people take them out at the track.

next time take your brother with you...he can watch your tools.

I left my spare tire in because I wanted to see what my car can do stock, and it comes with a spare tire stock...it's a good baseline to have after you mod the car.

besides, when I street race I'll have a spare tire in the back. and as horrible as everyone says it is...almost all of them do it.

if I take out my passenger seat, back seat, spare tire, put on slicks etc...I don't have a true representation of what my car will do on the street.

I'll only take all that stuff out when I have turbo'd my car, and done TONS of other stuff to it, and I'm trying to set some kind of record for a 5th gen maxima...that day will never come.

if I improve my ET next time out at the track, it'll be because I improved my driving skills, not because I decided to take more junk off my car.
