sorry, sorry....

to answer your question, yes you'll prolly need to upgrade your harnesses if the new bulbs really do in fact pull 100w. i haven't seen it personally but some of the other members here have melted their harnesses running higher wattage bulbs. but i'd be a little skeptical of the ebay harness unless there was a better description or wiring diagram. it just says it's 'better.' just put one together with higher guage wire and relays.

as for the bulbs, remember to aim them correctly cuz in the stock housing, it's going to glare like crazy.

I dont get it.... is the auction selling a pair of HIDs or halogen bulbs? I am assuming that it's halogen bulbs since the final price was 25 bucks. But look at how the seller put his words together.... "XENON GAS FILLED HEADLIGHTS BULBS" ??? Lol.

Instead of getting some wack bulbs off of
E-bay, get HID like Catz-HID so you can have a true conversion kit and it'll last like 2000 hrs min.

xenon headlights

hey guys, need some help here. not only am i a girl who loves her 03 max se, i am the fleet manager at a huge nissan /infiniti dealer. there is a big problem here in jersey with headlights getting stolen off the maximas with xenon headlights. customers come in the showroom after having lights stolen sometimes 2 and three times, to trade in their new car to get something else. i was hit once right in front of the dealership in broad daylight on a very busy street. (park in the back now) it takes 15 seconds to get the lights out. anyone know of a solution or is having the same problem in their area? wolud appreciate any feedback. jb

Yeah, get a job at a different dealer, since Nissan doesn't think HID theft is a problem.

just cuz its xenon gas filled duzn't mean it can't be a halogen bulb too...its not HID but yea....Most of the time when you upgrade to these "superwhite" bulbs, you will loose "leumens" (i think thats how u spell it)which is the strength of the light, just cuz its a brighter light duzn't mean that its a stonger light...

i have a pair for highbeams, it basically cant see CRAP, but my highbeams look good when i "flash to pass"
thank god for HID

private message TimW, he has some special bolts that you can put on that make the headlights harder to steal. No impossible to steal, but much harder.

Maybe you can get your whole dealership to put these on your customer's cars when they come in?
