Just like everyone else says, it sounds stock up to about 3k rpm then it starts. As long as you don't really get on it, you'd be hard pressed to know it's there. If you want everyone to know you have an intake, this is not the one to get. Anyone who's worried about "someone" noticing... I doubt my wife will ever know unless I tell her about it (should have been "if" I tell her ).

Looks good, easy install (used the instructions from "Greg's Garage" ... recommend you print them in color. I've never installed an intake before and it took a friend and me less than 45 minutes.

Also, the MAF tube... nobody mentioned how hard it is to get the rubber boot off! That's not easy, but then maybe I didn't want to really torque it because of how sensitive the MAF is.

That's what the stickers are for.

If you want someone to notice, drop into a lower gear and punch it. The Injen will certainly wake up anyone around you.

 

by "someone" I meant the wife... I was strictly forbade from modifying this car... she'll never know - and stickers would tip her off.

I do have an injen license plate frame. Anyone want to buy it? I have to stay stealth

 

oh she's find out for sure alright. unless she's deaf, there's no way she won't find out!

2K2-2K3s have to be one of the loudest cars with just an aftermarket intake

 

Nail it from a stop, and the injen is loud enough to scare birds out of trees.....i know from experience
