Chrome around the windows.

I've got a Black SE and I think it would look badass without the chrome around the windows. There's no chrome anywhere else on the car so this **** looks out of place. Anyone know if its possible to remove the chrome and if the car looks okay without it?

haha, i had the same thought. one day i got bored, so i ran electrical tape all around the windows the cover the chrome. looked sweet, and pretty clean too, but i took it off because i felt it would look kinda ghetto if it started to peel or somethin.

I saw some of the black-out tape today when I was a G.I. Joes today. It looked awfully wide (about 1") so I thought it might be a little too big. Plus it said to apply between 60-80 degrees ambient temp. It's ~40 here today so no go.

i just checked out my mom's i30t, and it also uses that black tape for the b-pillar.. someone here has gotta have an idea of how to take that trim out.. there's gotta be more than that one visible bolt.
