how do I clean cloudy headlights?

How do I clean up the cloudy headlights on my 2k2 SE? The plastic over the HIDs has a nasty haze.

Thanks...

Others have recommended plastic cleaner from places like pep boys. No matter what..it will come back, so all you can do is try to keep up with it.

Both of these ideas will not work.

Get plastic polish from Checker/Pep Boys/Auto Zone. It takes the haze right off.

someone should point out that nissan specifically says not to use ammonia-based cleaners on the headlights. I think that's the "problems from repeat use" he's talking about.
