Advancing Timing Tomorrow

Going to a local import shop tomorrow to get the timing advanced on my 2002. They seemed a little hesitant at first, but said they did have to odb tool and the codes to do it...they don't think it will hold tho. I may have to give them a little guidance. For those of you who have had this done before, what exactly do I need to tell them? And will they give me a printout of the changes like I have seen on other threads about this?

If they have a Consult II they'll be able to give you a printout. Otherwise I have no idea. And yes, the timing advance will hold.
