I would like to upgrade to PIAA bulbs on my 2k blk max se but I am getting mixed oppinions of whether I need to upgrade my wiring harness. Do I need to or will I risk getting stranded without headlights. I do alot of long hwy drives. If so where would I find one or should I figure out how to put one together myself. Thanks guys.

If you buy the correct PIAA's, you shouldnt need to change anything. Only cheap POS bulbs do that. I had 150W piaas from europe on my 2k1 and there was no problem. They were in for 31k miles ( when i go home from school, i make the trip at night between Miami and Orlando). Needless to say, the car was totalled after a semi clipped me and i backed the car into a wall. On my 2k3, i also installed piaa hi-beams and fogs, so far (16000 miles) no problems.
