6 spd clutch soft @ 3500?
Hey guys,
I just stumbled upon this site after 6 years of owning Maxima's. Thank God.
Anyways... here's the question:
2003 Maxima SE, 6 speed, very well taken care of, entirely stock.
My clutch at about 3500 miles seems to be a bit "soft", meaning it seems to have either broken in really well, or it's already showing signs of wear. Has anyone encountered this in their 6 speed besides me? I'd just hate to think the clutches in this generation are softer than the 4th's. The clutch in my '97 never seemed to go soft on me.
I know you're going to ask about it, so here's your answer... lol. I've never beaten on the car on the road; although I have driven it like a Maxima.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks!
Todd
