Paint Brake Calipers

I am taking the car in to get new tires put on it. Does it cost much to get the brake calipers painted. and Can I use the car right after painting the calipers, meaning do I have to wait for the paint to dry? I dont know squat about the braking system.

do not pay to paint the calipers, just buy the folia-tec kit and do it yourself. it will save you a lot of money. its not that hard i did it on my wife's celica.

I painted my calipers blue. Its not that hard to do and the paint was dry enough to drive the car the same day. Looks nice too.

I will be painting my calipers silver in April with the Folia-tec paint. It is recommended that you let the paint cure for about 24 hours before you drive the car.

Depending on what color you're looking at doing you could just buy regular old high heat paint from autozone for like $5. I helped my brother do white on his calipers like this and looks good. IMO, save yourself some $$$.

If I could find some high-temp gold paint, I would re-do mine. Mine are red right now, and I think it looks good, but the gold would be pretty hot!
