I posted this long time ago and now the search feature is gone.

It is polished titanimum. I want a good classy look not ghetto pimp mode. Would red look good? Thanks for your thoughts.

paint them gunmetal..
i did it to my sterling myst silver max.

first I polished them to a mirror finish

then painted them with 2 coats of gunmetal and 3 coats of clearcoat.

I put it all back together and it matched my paint and wheels nicely.

I don't know if my Max has any calpipers. Is that anything like the Pied Piper or Calzones? I do like a good calzone

I had red for a while. Then I realized that they were hard to clean and they looked gay. Once you go black, you'll never go back.

RED!

I painted my calipers red on my Sterling Silver and it looks very sex-tastic... very professional looking and not hard to keep clean at all, even with brake dust on them, they look clean. It's amazing how much it really does for the car.

Gun-metal, silver, titanium. Make them look like they are ultra clean out of the show room.

If you want red calipers you should have gotten a Spec-V!

I don't understand your logic... if you wanted AE kick plates, why didn't you get a 2001 max?
Just messing with you, but red really does look great, I painted mine with much caution because I've seen it on civics and didn't like it at all. But it looks great, and in my opinion, if you're going to do a color in the "silver family", you might as well just not paint them at all because it won't make all that much of a difference in looks from unpainted once they're on the car and being the wheel.

I'm thinking of eventually doing mine in silver for my Sterling Mist SE/TE. They are yellow on my 3rd gen. I've used the Folia Tec stuff in the past. Expensive, but holds up great. The first time I did them on the 3rd gen lasted 4 years before needing refreshing. Getting the caliper as clean as possible is crucial to the life of whatever paint you use. Not a lot of fun, but it will last much longer.
Here's an idea: The Brembo's on a 350Z Track Ed are a gold'ish color. Kind of a clash, but would be different. If you have any accents on the car in a different color, then try doing your calipers in whatever color that may be.

I did mine in Black using the Folia Tec Paint Kit. I highly recommend spending the money. High temp engine paint fades over time. The Foltec kit is a two part epoxy paint. I went with Black because I wanted a color that was subtle.
