MAFS problem...HELP

Ok I have a V2 SC with a cold air intake. I extended the wires and put the MAFS in the right wheel well. There is 4 wires and here is my problem.

pin 1 should be 1.2 - 1.8 volts, but it reads .9 volts BAD
pin 2 should 5 volts, it reads 4.9 - 5 volts GOOD
pin 3 should be ground, it is. GOOD
pin 4 should be battery voltage, it is. GOOD

I am getting a 0100 (MAFS) SES code.
I have replaced the MAFS with a new one nad the problem is still there. The car will NOT run above 2400 rpms, has a ruff idle, fuel preasure is very low 14-20 psi and it is blowing black stuff out of the tail pipe. (these are all caused by the MAFS)

I really need some help, it has taken me 2 weeks to get this far.

Try wiring the MAFS up directly without all the extended wire in between and then see what voltages you read.

it's the only way to see if it's your MAF or you.

I did the wirinng change...samething.
I started to think that the MAFS was bad (the new one) so I replaced it. It was bad. The SES light has gone out...but the car is worse now. It won't even hold an idle.
I don't know what to do.

so wait... you changed the wiring and found the MAF still bad? Then you changed the MAF and the light went out, right? Where is the MAF mounted now and how is it wired?

It is back in the right wheel well. I have correct voltages and no SES light.
