honest opinions on this wheel please

I have a grey lustre 02 Max, my clear tails have been replaced by gxe tails painted to match the paint on body. It is lowered using Tein S-tech springs. I am getting some variety of struts but not decided. I am also getting wheels and was wondering what everyone's opinion was on this wheel. Im gething them in 18x7.5. Be brutal if you need to be.

i like the first one...definitely a sharp rim. 3rd one looks a bit yawn to me. 2nd one is cool too.

i have a grey lustre too so i wanted to get something dark as well, but i just couldn't decide, so i'm stickin with bling bling chrome. and i'll be lowering it on GC's as well.

let me know what you end up choosing...GOOD LUCK!!

I like all of them. They are all really nice. But I definitely think the first one and third one are better than the second.

Marco, why did you decide to go with the GC instead of Tein stechs?? I have the teins and they are great once i got used to it. I'm just not sold on the cheaper coilovers like GC. Why did you choose those?

asu, at this point i am leaning towards the first set, the Maxxims. I have agreat hookup on wheels and pretty much anything else i want. I pay cost on anything. i have a friend that has his won shop and he gets great prices.

For example the third wheel is by racing hart, they are GT-5 gunmetal, i can get those with nitto tires in 18x7.5 for about $1400 total including everything needed. wheel max's price on those have jsut been reduced from $1750 to $1550 with shipping not included. Adn wheel max requires you pay more for better tires.

well if you're talking about the tein springs then i couldn't go with those cause i like to change the height.
i love the low rider look, but i'm also aware that i live IN a pothole known as NYC. my driveway is VERY VERY steep so i dont plan on riding dropped a lot. i will lower it a bit for everday use and just enough to clear my driveway, but when it's time to go to a meet or just to cruise, i plan on dropping it ALL the way, and i mean ALLLLLLLLL the way. from what i understand, the GC's drop the most, next to airbag suspension, which drops the most.
another issue is my system. it's gonna weigh in at an easy 2-300 pounds. with that in mind, i couldn't get springs because i would never be sure as to which i wanted as far as height drop. if i get the wrong ones and rear sags too much or rather, doesn't drop enough, i'd get ****ed. with the GC's, at least i can adjust it so they look evenly dropped.
and if you're talkin about the tein coilovers, that's pretty damn expensive =) although i do know that is the supreme luxury of coilovers.
