What size wheel fits?

What size fits an 03 Max SE?

I was told a 20x8 is too big, what about 19x8.5? What about 18x7.5?

Appearantly the strut tower brace is too close to the wheel and anything larger than 19" will have a tire rubbing problem on the strut tower.

Thats a lie a 20" wheel will fit, so will 19X8.5. Some here have used up to 255 tires w/o rubbin. Just get an offset between 35mm-40mm and ull be aight.

Ok, cool.. The bigger the offset, the closer the lip of the rim will be to the lip of the fenderwell, right? (higher offset will make the rim stick out further from the wheel hub) ??

Thanks,
Kevin

Other way around. Id go with 35mm personally, but 40 will still work.

Ahh so the higher the number, the further out the lug mounts will be on the rim?

Which means that a smaller offset (i.e. 35) would have the lugs mounted near the inside of the rim, and thus the rest of the 8.5" rim would stick out further..

Will 35 offset make it stick out past the fender well? I don't want it to do that..

Its only a 5mm diff, but no It wont make is stick out like some of those lowriders u see (thats just plain wrong) 35mm will actually make it pretty much even with the fender. The 40mm will be just 5mm more in, not really too noticable. Some here (using stock wheels)have put 20mm spacers in the front and 25mm in the rear and that pretty much made the rimsin flush with the fender. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....ghlight=bwalsh

I dont think u got to worry about the wheel stickin out.
