Humming noise after shutoff

I've noticed sometimes lately a faint, but noticeable humming noise coming from the rear of the car (I'm guessing fuel tank area) for the first few minutes after shut off. It's a fairly new '03 SE. Anyone have any ideas?

What are hearing is your eletric fuel pump which is loacted in your fuel tank.
