Synthetic tranny fluid change (auto)
I know I read something regarding this topic. My question is this. I want to do this change, what is the best way to drain all of the fluid out of the drainage hole? Should the car be angled in a certain direction? And how many times should I do it to get the best percentage of synthetic in the transmission?

You won't be able to drain all the fluid at once. You'll drain about 4 to 5 quarts at a time. Maybe it's better to take the car to a shop with the equipment to drain all the fluid.

Do you have any idea what that will cost?

i changed the tranny fluid in my 2k max about 1 month ago. I was lucky because i had the search function. There is two hose that go into the tran, one is in one is out going. I took the outgoing hose and stuck it into a bucket of fresh amsoil atf. You take the ingoing and put that in an empty bucket. You turn on the car for about as long as need for the fresh stf to comne out. Then just add atf to the top dipstick until it is full. My write up is not the good but this is basically what i did.
