hey all. i'm about to get my car back tomorrow from the shop. the thing is when i checked the car today, my radio and "dte" for the temp and mpg were flashing. my cd player doesn't work @ all and gives a "err..." message. the battery was disconnected for a while. is there a fix for this? or is it a dealership issue? plz help. thanks.

"shop"? Is that the dealer? If it's at the dealership now, do not take it home until those issues are resolved. If it's not at the dealer and it's at a private shop, do not pay your bill until the issues are resolved.

Either way it's the shop's issue, not yours. Make them fix it.

Assuming you're talking about your '03 Maxima and that it's still under warranty, why aren't you taking it to the dealer where those problems would be covered?

"know" what? There are 244 reasons those things can happen (I counted). Check it out when you pick it up BEFORE you pay. If the problems are still there make the shop fix it. If they refuse, don't pay your bill and bring it to the dealer... what's so hard to understand?

was just wondering if it had anything to do w/ the battery being disconnected for so long or if there was an easy fix. just wondering. that's all. the reason why it's so hard to understand is that my my brand new car has already been in the shop for a month now. just would be nice to have her back. that's all. it's been in the shop longer than i've been able to drive it...

ya i know that stuff happens...well thx for the help. just wish that there was some advice someone could give. it looks as though the shop washed down my engine bay with water...thinking that perhaps this might of have shorted something out. oh well.
