AE Headlights

Hey ,


Has anyone replaced there headlights with the AE Headlights ?? If so do you have any directions on how to do the swap ??

If you are putting them on your '00, it should just be a direct swap out. Remove bulb harnesses, remove some bolts, remove current housing, insert AE housing, reattach bolts, plug harnesses back in and done.

Would be different if you were putting AE's in a 2k2-2k3.

There is a writeup on the last page of the Installation/How To's thread on how to directly switch the lights out.

I'm making my AE headlights today (thanks to Phatman5050's writeup)!

I did all the work!! Just be careful not to touch any part of your headlight to the oven, or use a heat-gun or hairdryer. With this, patience is definitely a virtue. Be sure the paint is dry before putting them back together.

i used a heatgun to paint the housing of my 2k3 headlights. took a good 6 hours, from beginning to end.
