90 deg exhaust routing = BIG HP LOSS!!!

So I was just checking out underneath the car and I found out that the exhaust pipe makes friggin 4! 90 deg turns to accomodate the centrally located gas tank. that's like 15-20HP loss
i can't believe no aftermarket tuner have come out with a solution to this.
