I don't think any of the aftermarket grills look good on the 5th gen. Maxima. I prefer the body-colored grill over the aftermarket ones plus they are probably cheaper and just better looking all together

If you have a black 2k2 or 2k3 PM Me, if not , Chris from grille tech has a Group deal right now for the lower and upper pieces.

those mesh grills look clean and nice but I heard they are a ***** and a half to install, something about bumper removal.

I opted for the Trenz billet grill, because I am a billet man, tried and true!

I await my shipment any day now and will most definitely post pix!

Check my homepage for a look at the JMS Products, Inc. grilles.

Click on products, then scroll down to the bottom of the page. You'll see the other styles on some Maximas as well.

I've got the 1/2" diamond-cut style in aluminum.

They offer 2 sizes (1/2" and 1/4") and 2 or 3 cut styles (diamond, honeycomb, and perforated) and 2 colors (carbon steel and aluminum). Their site says carbon steel is halted temporarily for certain styles, so give them a call to see if that applies to us as well.

Opinion on Grille-Tech

I recieved the Grille-Tech race grille this week, and returned it immediately. I was disappointed to learn that the mounting hardware is nothing more than a set of zip ties. The grill looked like something from the harware store, cut to shape, and edged with insulation stripping.

I'm looking for something on par with the Jaguar S-Type 'R' grill. I'm still looking.

unless you want to get expensive and buy a $200+ Trenz grill that is what you're going to be left with. the JMS grill is the same way. the zip ties are more than sufficient.

not if someone buys my used grills

i would prefer the JMS lower valance over the grill tech anyday of the week. but the upper grills look almost identical. how much do they cost from grill tech? (upper and lower)?

street scene's "honey comb style" grill is the best IMHO.

Would you rather have to cut your OEM stuff, and be stuck with something forever, like the 2k1 guys do with the Street Scenes, or would you rather have something you can take off in a minute or so, and go back to stock. If you read the forums, you would have seen many times that it's how they attach. If you want the Jag grile, I can get one for you, just send me $700 bucks.

The S TypeR grille is definately the nicest looking grille out there... plus I absolutely love the S TypeR.
