2k2-2k3 Hesitation fix

I guess I'm curious about the success of Nissan's fix for the 2k2-2k3 hesitation issue. Include posts if you which to include details of your experience.

How about adding my car is an '02 or '03 and I don't notice any hesitation at all?

I guess I expected that most 2k2-2k3 owners do have the problem, since it hasn't been until recent that Nissan finally came up with a TSB for it...

Just dropped mine off tonight. I handed them the TSB, the look on their face was priceless. They were cool about it though and stapled it to the work order. We'll see, I gave them a laundry list.

The TSB shows them "exactly" what to do, so it "should" be idiot proof. If you brought it to them, remind them of that

Exactly, "should" be. Anybody who has recently visited a Nissan service department knows that you chances of finding a competent mechanic are, and I'll be generous, 1 in 4.

Well I guess I'm one of the 3 then. I got my car back today. And even though in the vehicle history a tech felt the problem, and ven though I gave them the d@mn printed TSB they still didn't fix it!!!!!!!!!!! They claim that the didn't feel it but they were going to flash the computer anyway. I don't believe that they did. Besides, part of the TSB was to replace teh MAF as well.

Had mine updated today. No new MAF was required, they did the programming.
So far so good, and I was very vocal about the problem, months of calls with Nissan NA, took it in 5 times, etc. Real test will be when the weather warms up a bit (85 over the weekend, was 55 and rain today, figures). But like I said, I'm liking it so far. My car was a January 2002 build.

They tried to flash my auto with the manual flash at first and of course it wouldn't let them. I think they used the wrong TSB number for your car like they did mine. Bring it to their attention.
