Where are all the 2002 SE's with leather at?

I'm really trying to find a nice '02 Maxima with leather. I've only found 1 out of 20, and the dealer wants $24,000 for it! Back when I got my '92 SE in '95, a lot of them had leather. I REALLY don't want to go back to cloth. I'm also finding quite a few that have had rental car history . I know that by limiting myself to a 2002 it narrows my chances, but I LOVE that 255 hp 3.5 liter engine.

At 24,000 just buy new. If you are ok with a GXE they have new '03s in Chicago for $20,900 with leather.

you can get high quality leather seat covers for about $650. just find a nice base model for $19,000 and put the leather in yourself.

2k3's have the same engine... might be easier to find.

Also, aftermarket leather is cheaper than the stock stuff.. and you can get the whole car done for like $600 so keep that in mind.

My third gear LOVES to grind, it'll grind ALL the time and my first tranny did the same thing. I'm taking it in to Nissan where they're going to rip the tranny apart. The service rep said he was "99.9% sure Nissan would cover it"...wish me luck with that .1% contingency

Autotrader.com or Cars.com

I found mine the beginning of March on Autotrader.com: 2k2, 6 spd black-on-black leather, 18.3k miles.

Wow, thats BS. Have you had the clutch disk replaced yet? There is a TSB on it. My 3rd grinds as well, im going to take the car to the dealer in a few weeks to have a whole bunch of TSBs done. The clutch disk, the throttle by wire ECU update, the stupid wind noise, the HID glaze.

When are you takin the tranny back? and, yes, good luck!

Can you link me to the wind noise TSB? I noticed quite a bit when I drove the 2k2 SE Friday night. A LOT from the sunroof, but with the shade closed, that goes away. Still seemed like more than was appropriate...

Also with aftermarket you can get 2-tone with Maxima embroidered on it that feels better than the factory leather.

If it is any consolation, those of us with garages only get the benefit overnight. Parking outside, or even in those high rise office parking complexes, during the day results in pretty much the same thing.
