I have a 2000 SE and since the 2002 came out, I love the new head and tail lights. They seem to be the same size a shape as the current ones I have on my 2000. Does anyone know If I can simply buy the 2002 lights and replace them on my 2000? Any issues with wiring when doing this?

 

plug and play.. very simple. The sealant is very messy and hard to deal with, but it probably took me 45 mins at most.

 

I swapped out the rears, so I can tell you that you will have to cut/splice the 00' connectors to your new 02' taillights. The connectors on the 02's do not fit throught the alotted hole in our 00's.

Are you talking about the tail lights or head lights? Both?

 

Headlights are a bit trickier, I believe.

 

i think u can buy them but u may be able to swap with someoe too. poeple have been trading because theresome who want the old tails but mostly the old SE ones

 

If there is anyone out there that wants to trade taillights from a 2000 SE (Black covers) with ones from a 2002 (Chrome or white covers) please let me know. I am in the Chicago Area, so closer to home would be better to avoid shipping costs. Thanks!

 

sorry, I was just referring to tails.. Headlights are a 2 hour job.
