Air Filters

Picked up a Beck Arnley replacemnt air filter. Are these any good? I can't search, otherwise I would have. I know typically air filters are all the same, but I just want to make sure this one isn't garbage

Thanks...

berk arnley is typically the upper crust when it comes to parts. i used to work for advance auto and rarely saw many arnley parts because they were more expensive and typically order items. most likely, for the money spent you could have picked up a nissan replacement. i would think they are pretty similar in quality.

Thanks Sloppy.. It was only like 12 bucks so I just wanted to make sure it wasn't low end.

Just curious... What is your criteria when placing those air filter brands in that order? Price? Not trying to flame or anything. Just curious.

ive only seen a few arnley filters but with fram and purolator mainly quality. we had several purolators come back with edges seperating from the filter element. some purolator filters didnt even fit the vehicles for which they were intended properly. these occurences were much less with fram so between the two, id pick fram from my experience. arnley i cant comment as much on and k&n is really on a different level. ive never used anything but k&n in my old 95 altima and i took the same filter and put it in when i picked up my maxima.
