TRIM BUMPSTOPS or NOT???

I am going to install my Teins springs this week with Tokicos. Any suggestions of if I should trim the Bumpstops or not???

I am thinking the same thing... What Coil??? I was talking about the bumpstop and trimming it

it's like a bushing - made of eurethane usually - a sharp knight will cut right through it.. you'll figure it out when you see it..

oh and it shouldn't matter which end you cut off, but just cut off the thinner (smaller) end coil if there is one, else it doesn't really matter..

trim them if you think you are going to hit with the new springs/struts..

with teins you probably will need to trim front and rear.. with eibach, maybe neither.. it all depends..

it won't hurt anything to cut them anyways.. it is really just a little protection for if/when you bottom your struts out but since you are lower you will be getting closer to bottoming them out, so you will hit your bumpstops, which is why you need to cut them..
