to each his own...thanx for the reply tho....it was either the Trenz or the grill-tech..I just don't feel comfortable with a grill that is affixed by way of zip-ties...too cheap IMO

the trenz grill looks nice to me but the thing is, that grill is brushed aluminum..I was under the impression that it was gonna be polished.

either way, still looks good to me, and its my car...I also think the brushed compliments my sterling mist well too...

Yeah I totally agree with you on the zip-ties issue. I would like to see someone develop a new grill or something? Let me talk to some1 about it

I have seen a new one that is out. It looks a lot like the Street Scenes Grille, with the Nissan logo in the middle. It is available for the 2k2 . I saw it at the Nissan dealer in Temecula. I would rather the Zip tie cheapo in my opinion, over the Trenz. I went to see it in person at Nissan, and didnt like it.

i thought that Trenz only made one style for the o2 max the one that is pictured above. i actually wanted them to make the new one for the altima with the nissan emblem. do they even make that one for the 02 max??

Im a fan of the billet grilles. IMO they look the best on the 4th gen maxes but I think it looks good with the car's color. Plus I dont like the factory grille. Now you should drop it and throw on some nice silver 19s.

Lookin good

same with my street scenes valence..

nt2shabby..use a dremel and shave out the middle beam that runs down the grille and you'll be good to go..i'm not liking the trenz otherwise with that bar running down the middle.

thanx...I love the compliments...the drop is coming, just not sure what spring to get....want that stock ride with a noticeable drop, hopefully being able to retain stock struts...any ideas???

as for 19's...won't happen...living in NYC makes 19's strictly prohibitive...

NT2,
How much was the Trenz grille? Where did you buy it?

I also like the look (hence the questions).

I think the eibach drop looks the best but some people say it's stiff. I have ridden in my friend's 4th gen with eibach and wasnt too bad, you def. feel big bumps though...Anyway h&r is near stock but the drop looks uneven and too conservative...look into maxspeeds cuz theyre near stock ride, inexpensive, and drop more than H&R. BTW a lot of people use stock struts with aftermarket springs with no problems.

I've seen that grill for about $175 plus shipping. I think it was through Yahoo. I'm trying to decide what to do with the grill on my 2k3 SE right now. I like the mesh grills, but like some people are saying, I don't like the idea of it being held on by zip ties. I like the Trenz grill too though. When you say install was a b!tch...what do you mean? It says it goes "right over" the existing grill with clips. I'm guessing that's not true? I was thinking you could probably see the Nissan emblem through it if you left the original grill on too. I'm glad I can ask someone how they did it before I buy one.

(I agree with Igor911 about the clear markers...that would definitely top the car off!)
