My 2k3 did NOT have the 2k - 3k rpm hesitation, but DID have the cool throttle-lag-from-a-stop problem. So, I thought what the hell, Nissan can spot me the $50 for the ECU flash under warranty and we'll see if the throttle lag gets fixed - we'll call the $50 not-even-close-to-even-for-my-paint-chips.

Today while testing the throttle responded immediately (still has that cool "thunk" feeling though as the drivetrain starts). There seems to be a slight improvement in performance, but could be imagining things. <<<<<


BTW, from some of the other scary dealer comments, Baker-Jackson Nissan in Houston is apparently outstanding. The service dept. hasn't ever said anything other than "yes sir, we'll get right on it" for anything I've brought them, including this. Sounds like we're lucky!
