AE Sills on an '03 Max?

Hi all..

Well.. was just about to buy the AE sills for my '03 GLE and I went to THIS site which says they won't fit on an '03.

Baffled, I sent an email to the company and the reply I got read:

By part number they do not show to fit the 2003. I had someone try it and they also told me they would not fit.

Is this true?

I can't put the AE sills on my '03? What makes it different from an '02 that would prevent such a thing?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Nick

So maybe the reason they say the AE's won't fit on the '03 is because the '03's w/ the Titanium package came with them.. In other words, they want you to buy the '03 ones instead (probably more money).

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks,
Nick

There is NO DIFFERENCE with the 5th Gen door sills.

My g/f has a 2000 GXE that I purchased AE door sills for from Courtesy Nissan and all it took was taking the old ones off and snapping the new ones in (and they look GREAT!). My 2003 SE Titanium came with them... they are the SAME THING.

Sounds to me like a parts dealer who doesn't know his a$$ from a hole in the ground.

Thanks for the answer...

So.. $50 is a pretty good deal then, right? Anyone think Dave B can do better?

Later,
Nick
