Painting hood
I'm going in next week to have my front bumper replaced and I was thinking of getting my hood repainted (same color, Grey Lustre). I'm just sick of looking at all the paint chips and dead bugs that I can't seem to get rid of. I have excessive paint chips and bugs b/c I used to drive on the freeway about an hour and a half north of Houston everyday (a lot of big rigs out that way). Disregarding cost, do you think this is a good idea? The only thing I'm scared of is that the color won't match. Should I be worried at all?
Thanks a million!!
oh, and no, I don't wanna get a bra--most of my driving now will be residential

assuming that your car is still under warranty, go and complain your a$$ of to your local dealership. I sent the info in for that lawsuit, but in the meantime I complained and complained to my dealer and a guy from nissan came out and approved my car to be painted. I just got it back and loving it already! They painted the inside of the doors, some parts of the rear and repainted the hood....
