Mud Flaps for 2k2 SE?

Mud Flaps for 2k2 SE?

Would like the factory original look. Or, are they not necessary on this year's Max? I want them both for appearance and to protect the lower part of the body.

Any input it appreciate.

I have the Factory painted splash guards on my 2K3 se and i like them they were a must for me because i live on a dirt road so they keep the rocks off the rocker pannels plus they dont take away from the styling

Thanks for the input. I didn't know if the positioning of the wheels/tires negated the need for them, but apparently not. Now, I just need to hunt down some in the charcoal color.
