how can I purchase cigarette lighter for a 2002 maxima cause it seems like nissan doesn't manufacture'em.I mean they do for every model except maxima.

 

Its not an OEM part. Just go to you're local auto store and pick up a lighter or whatever they call it (sorry, don't smoke). Just think, that spot has to be the same size for you're cell phone, radar detector or whatever....

 

First I must ask if you have converterd the power outlet socket as yet, because no lighter will fit in the outlet. You have to but the cigaretter lighter kit from your dealer and take your center console apart and replace the 12 volt outlet with the lighter outler. I bought my kit from courtesy nissan.It comes with instructions so dont worry. BTW I dont even smoke

actually yep because the only part to fit is a nissan sold part.Go figure
