Hey guys,

Have any of you experienced an issue with the max not starting. I am getting ignition, but no rollover. It happens intermittantly but today I sat there for and hour and a half waiting for it to start. Any Ideas?

My car actually does this every so often. What I do is leave the key in the on position and shift from park all the down to 1 and then back up to park. Starts every time after I do that. Its weird. Try it next time that happens to you.

*edit* If you have an auto

Also check to see if your cam sensor wire is plugged in well. Thats what cause me the same problem...except it was a pinched wire under the SC plate.

Hi, This happened to me a month after I took delivery of my 03' SE. I turned the key, and besides the fact that the engine would not crank, everything else seemed normal. Took it to my dealer. They found the cranking amps to be lower than normal. They replaced the battery and I've had no issues since. A place like Pep-Boys will normally test the battery in the car for free using a roll out tester. Hope this helps.
