SES light

Mine came on the other day, and i was going to take it to autozone and have them read the code, and then the light just went off the next day. I have a frankencar with the K&N, I just confused as to why the light went off. Anyone else had this happen?

I am beginning to think the 02' and 03's have service reminder lights.
