Slk230 ?

I am gonna have a run with 2k2 SLK230. The thing is that the guy is showing of his SLK. I have 2k2 and i wanna know what to expect. I am thinking to put money on the race. Should I?

P.S. 2k2 SLK230(auto) vs 2k2 maxima (auto)

The race will be done in controled inviroment, with no people or cars around.:-)

Running stock? It's hard to say since his body is lighter, but you have bigger engine. If you were to race with him, I would say you were gonna walk him. But then it depends on the driver, tires, etc..... Good luck!

I beat one by like 2 cars to 60 with my 6 speed. I had a good launch and just walked away. The look on his face as he did a fly by was priceless. I saw no need to go past 60 in a 45 but i guess he did. It was a nice black one with the top down. I think you will walk him.

just don't screw up (which is about impossible in an AUTO), and you'll waste him...

You should be just fine. I was in a heavily modded 4th gen auto and we took one pretty easily.

yeah, the 230s are pretty light in the guts department. 320's have a little more move.

you shouldn't have any trouble taking him. slushbox to slushbox... his is mushier...

I had a 1998 SLK230 this time last year and aside from the really cool top, they're nothing special. The 2.3L is a superchaged 4cylinder engine that is pumping out around 192hp.stock. Don't think that the SLK is a lightweight though, they are weighing in at 3,055 pounds (A VERY well built roadster) and your maxima is probably outweighing him by around 200lbs...With the HP difference, I don't see any reason for you to lose myself. GOOD LUCK!

320 runs exactly 15 in 1/4 mile so it's not bad...

32 AMG No stock max would have a chance.
