Everyone is going to tell you different, but since you have the same color as me, i went with 35%. I like darker tints, but i like to be able to see out the windows at night!

I have the same color, too, and have 50% front, 35% rear. Law in my state is no tint on the front so I didn't want to attract attention. If I had it to do again I probably would have put 35% all around and just dealt with the ticket if I got one.

Just to make this clear for myself, (i'll try to explain this my best) is the percentage of tint the amount of light you can see from the inside to the outside???

Yes, the tint % is the amount of light that is allowed to pass through. The higher the %, the lighter the tint.

How about checking the local yellow pages for an auto service place near you that does tinting. Then, call them and ask about their rates, types, and warranties (VERY important)...

and also, check the New Hampshire law to ensure you don't do it incorrectly and get harrassed (this is well known in Chicago... tinted windows = more traffic stops).

that Llumar tint is what I've been looking for forever.....the problem is I haven't found a shop in NYC that does it...

I ended up with 20% Madico Onyx black reflective film which isn't as reflective as that llumar stuff but its still reflective nonetheless....

I'm happy with it

The darker the better. Right now I have 5% on my rear windows and rear windshield, and 15% on my driver and passenger front windows. I'm going to be getting another layer of limo on my back windows, to make it double limo on the back half of my car, and going to get it down to about 7% on my front windows and hopefully about 80% on my front windshield.

Bet other drivers will just love you when you pull out in front of them 'cuz you can't see **** at night.

Yeah you can. 80% on the windshield doesn't do **** at night, and I can see out fine with limo on the back. The only time I can't see out is if there are no street lights or outside light of any kind, in that case, you look around where your car is before you pull out, or roll down the windows!
