changing spark plugs
Being that this is my first car without sparkplug wires I have no idea where my plugs are and how to pull them.
Also, I can just put regular spark plugs in there right, I dont need anything special do I? I saw some Bosch Platinum +4 plugs that looked decent for the money, but I dont know what most maxima people are using. Any input would help.
Thanks

I used NGK coppers. Unbolt the cover over the valve cover. You will see the coil packs. Unbolt them and pull straight up to get to the plugs. You will need long extentions to reach the plugs. Do not angle the socket at all or you will break the plug. It is a 30 min job.

You guys are a trip First of all what year is your car? If you have a 3.5 (2002-03) and you dont know much about whats under the hood then have it professionally done because the intake manifold has to be removed in order the access all of the plugs. 4 of them can be reached w/o doing this but the other two arnt going nowere until the manifold is removed. If you have the 3.0 the your gonna need an allen wrench (dont remember what size) to remove the cover on the front of the motor. Then use a 8mm or 5/16 socket to loosen all the bolts that hold down the coils (please dont lose those, they are small and a pain to find) Then unclip the coils and remove them one at a time, you'll see the plugs below them and I assume you know what to do after that. As for the rear remove the coild and you need a long extension as stated by Maximam and you'll be able to reach the plugs and I think you can figure out how to put everything back together after that.
Some here may argue with you and say the Bosch plugs are good, im not 1 of them so ill just say use the NGK double platinum plugs, you dont need copper unless your going a step or so colder for nitrous.
Btw heres a little tip, have a magnetic extension tool if you possible have access to it incase you drop something and it ends up somewere your hands cant fit. Have fun.

If we don't have spark plugs (and I guess don't have a need for them?) then why do you "change the plugs" . Do they, or do they not have spark plugs.
