I always get complaints that they are really slick, especially in the backseat. Any suggestions? Leather conditioner seems to only make things worse.

if you want your seat protected, then those conditioners will make it really slippery.. Now, if they had their belts on, they wouldnt slip at all..Originally posted by asu174

but i cant think of anything else... maybe someone can help you out more than i can..
Despite Max, women still avoid him
Install some "Hello Kitty" seat covers and call it a day. Nice leather is going to be slick, no doubt about it.

Install upholstered seats and sell your leathers. BTW, only in America do people prefer leather seating. In Europe, royalty rides on upholstered seats. However, their chauffers are relegated to sitting on leather seats because leather wears better and lasts longer than upholstery.
PS: I've got upholstered seats in my SE and I wouldn't trade them for leather seats even if the leathers were free. But to each his (or her) own.

My aftermarket leather isn't slippery at all. It's not the shiny type leather I guess. Very nice overall. I use Blue Magic products, basically Lexol but cheaper. Cleaner, then conditioner.

I use the Lexol Cleaner, and follow it up with the Lexol Conditioner, and my seats are not slippery at all.
Are you using Lexol or something else right now?

It takes less than 45 mins to do the max.
Once you get the conditioner on, you can wait alittle longer than it says to wipe off the excess.. it will soak up just *alittle* more conditioner.. it will not be slippery.. nor greasy if you wipe it down 2x with a good clean cloth. How long you leave it on is a personal preference thing. But it really doesnt matter that much either way.
Forget what the directions say on the label... lexol's website has much better instructions...

The only thing I don't like about leather is the care they require
